Heating Insurance

There are two types of insurance that you can take out to insure your home against the break down of your heating and hot water systems:

1. Home Emergency policies - these cover not just heating and hot water but also electrics, plumbing, drains, broken windows, lost keys, vermin, wasps nests, and more. (NB. Heating is not generally covered in the summer as it is not deemed an emergency)
   
2. Typical Heatcover policies - these cover your heating and hot water systems all year round but not any other home emergencies unless you pay for add-ons to the policies
