Beat the recession!
Banks in the UK are endeavouring to prevent a recession.
What can
YOU do?
1) Don`t spend more than you earn. Do you really need that new
LCD TV and do you need to spend so much on your
holiday? Try and make sacrifices this year, fine-tune your budget and you will be better off.
2) Help by reducing your debts. If you can`t afford to pay a lump sum off your
credit card or
loan then at least make sure you are paying more than the monthly minimum. Always check that you are benefiting from the lowest rate, keep your
credits cards for emergencies only.
3) Are you benefitting from such a competitive
Gas and Electricity market. Are there cheaper options available with your current
mobile phone or
broadband supplier. If you haven`t reviewed these services in over 12 months we strongly suggest you do.
4)
Save money - don`t just spend it! There are some fantastic rates in the marketplace.
ISA`s and even
Current Accounts.
5) Watch for, as the recession looms, interest rates dropping. This could be the right time to shop around for a new
mortgage.
6) Think carefully before you
change jobs. Companies make cutbacks when their profits get hit and staff are usually the first to be axed from the balance sheet. New employees can often be first in the firing line.
